Visits to the skin care salon for specialized procedure to reduce the signs of fine lines and multiple visits to the hair salon, the nail salon, the lash bar….can be expensive and time consuming. We are conditioned to spend, spend, spend in the name of youthfulness.
Don’t get me wrong, pick and choose the things that are right for you and make you feel great. Take care of your your body, your skin, your hair, prevention is important.
But if I had to bet on the best anti-aging medicine that far too many women ignore it has got to be strength and flexibility training.
Getting strong, supple and athletic allows us to feel better, to move better and is going to last much longer than a temporary procedure.
And it’s not just about looking good naked, although that is a nice perk. It’s about feeling strong, confident and centered.
That’s powerful.
When we feel that deep down inner power we have a completely different perspective, it affects everything we do.
